Kirk Smallwood, CompTIA
Serving as SVP of Business Development for the US
Academic Market at CompTIA, Kirk Smallwood is
responsible for a team working with thousands of
secondary and post-secondary school partners. The
Academic Partner Program provides schools and
other not-for-profit training entities with valuable
resources designed to help schools incorporate
CompTIA certifications and curriculum within their
programs. Kirk is also responsible for business
development in Latin America and the Caribbean and
joined CompTIA in 2009.
For more than 25 years, Kirk has worked for
technology trade associations. Previously, Kirk worked
at the Consumer Technology Association, where he
was Director of Sales Operations for the International
CES (Consumer Electronics Show), the largest
technology show in the world.
