A retired a Navy Cryptologic Technician (Networks) Chief Petty Officer Patrick stayed in the intelligence community after retiring in 2008 working for Booz-Allen Northrop Grumman CSC and other small companies supporting the cyber mission. Patrick s knowledge of the mission and capabilities to support the mission are extensive. While in the Navy he was a Technical Lead for one of NSA Red Team' s On-Net Teams as well as many other Cyber-related groups. He spent time in TAO R& E and emerging missions as well as worked extensively in infrastructure automation with tools like perl Python puppet and Ansible. Since joining industry Patrick has worked OpenStack Network and automation system engineering projects. Prior to coming to Red Hat in 2018 he worked on a government sponsored OpenStack project where he was a Principal Systems Engineer and Network Architecture. Patrick lives in Edgewater MD with his wife two children and their Newfoundland dog Oakley. He enjoys alpine skiing scuba diving cooking and homebrewing beer in his spare time.
