Kongsberg to Increase Remote Operation Weapon Stations for U.S. Army

Kongsberg Defence, Kongsberg, Norway, was awarded a $120 million contract, which will increase the maximum quantity of common remote operation weapon stations from 10,349 units to 11,690 units. Work will be performed in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, with an estimated completion date of Aug. 21, 2012. The U.S. Army Contracting Command, Picatinny Arsenal, New Jersey, is the contracting activity.
