• Maj. Craig Schnappinger, USM (c) receives the Marine Corps Expeditionary Warfare School’s Colonel Donald G. Cook Award from Jay Storms, president, AFCEA Quantico-Potomac Chapter, and Col. Jason Bohm, USMC, director of the Marine Corps Expeditionary Warfare School. The award was named after Donald Gilbert Cook, the first marine officer captured in Vietnam and the only marine in history to earn the Medal of Honor while a prisoner of war.

Phillips, academic dean and provost, U.S. naval Academy (l) and Vice Adm. Jake Jacoby, USN (Ret.), AFCEA Executive Committee and executive vice president, CACI. This U.S. Naval Academy Award was first presented in 1949 and was named after Capt. Alexander in 1980.
