Raytheon to Provide Multi-Spectral Targeting Systems

Raytheon Co., McKinney, Texas, is being awarded $17,707,050 for modification 0044-01 to previously awarded firm-fixed-price contract (N00164-12-G-JQ66) for 19 Multi-Spectral Targeting Systems for U.S. Navy MH-60R/S helicopters. The system is an airborne, electro-optic, forward-looking infra-red, turreted sensor package that provides long-range surveillance, high-altitude target acquisition, tracking, range-finding, and laser designation, and for all tri-service and NATO laser guided munitions. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane, Ind., is the contracting activity.
