Raytheon To Provide Surveillance Systems to Saudi Arabia

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia General Authority of Civil Aviation has awarded a contract to Raytheon Company to develop a national air traffic management system based on cooperative surveillance technology. The contract extends air traffic control and surveillance throughout the kingdom.

BAE Systems Receives Navy Information And Operating Systems Integration Contract

The U.S. Navy has awarded BAE Systems a contract worth up to $233 million to provide information and operating systems integration and related services at land-based facilities and on platforms such as ships, submarines and ground vehicles. The company will support the Navy's Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR) with engineering services, production engineering, integration, testing, inspection, and installation of command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance systems.

Lockheed Martin To Upgrade Air Force A-10 Software

The U.S. Air Force has awarded Lockheed Martin a $17.8 million contract to provide a software upgrade that integrates critical communications and situational awareness capabilities into the A-10C close air support fighter. The software upgrade will provide an improved pilot vehicle interface and enhanced weapons delivery.

Harris Wins USSOUTHCOM IT Services Program Contract

U.S. Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM) has awarded Harris Corporation a five-year, $38 million contract to support the command, control, communications and computer (C4) Systems operations and maintenance program for Joint Task Force (JTF) Bravo at Solo Cano Air Base in Honduras. Under the contract, the company will support JTF Bravo's C4 systems and networks, C4 installation and upgrade services, information assurance and computer network defense, telecommunications and circuit management, and supporting microwave communications systems.

Alion Awarded Contract To Support Army Manned And Robotic Vehicle Research

Alion Science and Technology has been awarded a five-year contract by the U.S. Army Tank-Automotive Research Development and Engineering Center (TARDEC). The company will support TARDEC's research and development efforts encompassing the life cycle of military manned and unmanned ground vehicles. The omnibus contract has a total value of $430 million and includes 16 awards, eight to small businesses and eight to large firms.

Thales Selected by French Government to Provide Biometric Identification System

The French Ministries of the Interior and Immigration have selected Thales to provide its TAMMIS@ (Thales Automated Multi-Modal Identification System) application for the AGDREF II project. TAMMIS@ will help the French government deploy biometric data enrollment software in more than 300 prefectures and sub-prefectures across the country.
