Alion Science and Technology Corporation has been awarded a $33 million contract that will provide research to expand technological developments, integration, validation and program deployment in the areas of intelligent ground system, force protection technology, vehicle electronics and architectures, ground vehicles power and mobility, and ground system survivability for the U.S. Air Force.

Agencies Form Commercial Satellite Communications Services Pact

August 7, 2009

The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) and the General Services Administration (GSA) have entered into a partnership to streamline acquisition of commercial satellite communications (SATCOM) services. Announced yesterday, the agreement will lead to a hybrid of GSA's multiple award schedules and indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (ID/IQ) contracts. Officials of both organizations are lauding this collaborative effort as "historic" and agree that the Future Commercial SATCOM Access contract will be worth $5 billion over a 10-year period.

Booz Allen to Provide CEAT Systems

Wyle Labs to Provide Services for Persistent Virtual Warfighting Environment Project

Wyle Laboratories has been awarded a $38,647,339 contract for the Reliability Information Analysis Center to research, test, develop and deliver concept recommendations, architecture analysis, ontological models reports, prototype development assessments, prototypes, security models and research discovery/recommendations for the Persistent Virtual Warfighting Environment Project.
