The Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC) multiple-award omnibus contracts were extended as a modification to each of the three existing contracts: TASC-M, Andover, Massachusetts, TASC-N, Andover, Massachusettts; and Interop Joint Venture II, Chantilly, Virginia. The three JITC omnibus multiple-award contracts are time-and-material contracts that provide a full-range of test, evaluation, and certification services to support rapid acquisition and fielding of global net-centric war fighting capabilities. The current contracts expire August 30, 2011. The extensions will add an additional 12-month period to each JITC omnibus. The total combined ceiling values for the extension period will be increased by $35 million dollars, changing t

APPTIS Incorporated (formerly, SETA Corporation), McLean, Virginia, and Science Applications International Corporation, San Diego, California, were awarded two contract modifications to the Defense Information Systems Network (DISN) Global Solutions (DGS) contracts. The increase to the ceiling amounts were to ensure continuous, uninterrupted services provided under the DGS contracts as the government re-competes the associated efforts. As a result of these changes, the DGS contracts lifecycle period of performance end date will be changed to March 31, 2012, and the total combined ceiling will be changed from $4.2 billion to more than $4.8 billion, an increase of $635 million dollars. The DGS contracts are open for use to all federal agen

AT&T Corporation, Oakton, Virginia, was awarded a nearly $218 million contract for Defense Information Systems Network (DISN) Video Services-Global (DVS-G) which provides video service and video teleconference services. This contract will provide interoperable global unclassified and classified video services and a full-service video teleconferencing utility for all DISN users. The video teleconferencing service is a real-time, near-full motion video service that allows simultaneous video and audio communications between two or more dedicated or dial-up sites worldwide. DVS-G provides critical support to a variety of overseas contingency operations missions.
