The increase to the ceiling amounts were to ensure continuous, uninterrupted services provided under the DGS contracts as the government re-competes the associated efforts. Apptis Incorporated has won a $25 million contract to provide critical network operations and information assurance support to the U.S. Central Command in Bahrain and at MacDill Air Force Base, Tampa, Florida. Under the Defense Information Systems Agency task order, Apptis will supply network operations and help-desk support to the command and control communications systems available to troops in combat zones.
