Sierra Nevada Corp., Rancho, California, is being awarded a $30,995,905 modification to a previously awarded firm-fixed-price, cost-plus-fixed-fee, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract (N00174-09-D-0003) to extend the ordering period and exercise option year six for the procurement and support of the transmitting set, countermeasures AN/PLT-5, to support explosive ordnance disposal personnel. The AN/PLT-5 is a man-portable system that supports the Joint Service Explosive Ordnance Disposal Counter Radio Controlled Improvised Explosive Device Electronic Warfare program. Work will be performed in Rancho and is expected to be completed by March 2018.

Sierra Nevada Corp., Sparks, Nevada, has been awarded a $9,236,172 indefinite-delivery/ indefinite-quantity contract to support Tactical Systems Emulator (TSE) software, TSE System Integration Laboratory, TSE Continental United States Classroom Systems and the sustainment of these systems. Work will be performed at Beale Air Force Base (AFB), California; Ft. Bragg, North Carolina; Hurlburt AFB, Florida; and Cannon AFB, New Mexico, and is expected to be complete by June 30, 2018. This award is the result of a sole-source acquisition. No funds are being obligated at the time of award.

Contractor will provide design and develop the technology and operational prototypes to satisfy the undersecretary of defense for intelligence goals of optimizing information sharing within the intelligence community (IC), and to enable decision making while maximizing IC capabilities to discover, access, retain, store, share, and exploit information.

The results of this contract will allow ground-based forces to digitally provide overhead aircraft with Personal Location Information and designate targets digitally to on-board aircraft computer systems allowing pilots to see where friendly forces are located on the aircraft Common Operating Picture as well as the GPS location of the target. (M67854-14-D-2522) are each being awarded a firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity multiple award contract for the counter radio-controlled improvised explosive device (IED) electronic warfare Marine Expeditionary Unit Special Operation capable (CREW MEU (SOC), dismounted systems. The CREW MEU (SOC) program addresses an urgent and compelling need for a capability to counter the threat posed by IEDs.
