Boeing Company Receives Contract for GPS Work
The Boeing Company is being awarded a $153,511,595 cost-plus-fixed-fee completion contract for High Integrity Global Positioning System (GPS) Technology Concept demonstration. The GPS is a local GPS enhancement that leverages the Iridium Low Earth Orbit satellite. The program will investigate technologies and will design solutions for objective performance under dynamic user equipment conditions. The Naval Research Laboratory, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.
