Large Aircraft Infrared Countermeasures System

Northrop Grumman Systems Corp., Rolling Meadows, Illinois, has been awarded a $105,291,836 modification (P00169) to the previously awarded contract FA8625-12-C-6598. Contractor will provide Large Aircraft Infrared Countermeasures (LAIRCM) equipment and support in the calendar year 2015 base hardware buy. Work will be performed at Rolling Meadows, Illinois, and is expected to be complete by April 29, 2017. The majority of the acquisition supports Air Force aircraft needs; however, this contract also acquires some foreign military sales LAIRCM acquisitions.

Northrop Grumman Systems Corp., Electronic Systems Sector, Land and Self Protection Systems Division, Rolling Meadows, Ill., is being awarded a $14,868,396 modification to a previously awarded firm-fixed-price contract to exercise an option to procure 90 sensors and associated technical data in support of the Advanced Threat Missile Warning System, a subsystem of the Large Aircraft Infrared Countermeasures System. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.
