Counter Communication Systems

Harris Corp. Space and Intelligence Systems, Palm Bay, Florida, has been awarded an $18,602,155 modification (P00002) to exercise the option on previously awarded contract FA8819-17-C-0004 for Counter Communication System Block 10.2. The contractor will provide Block 10.2 upgrades for 13 existing antennas across the Counter Communication System fleet. Work will be performed in Palm Bay and should be completed by February 25, 2019. Fiscal 2017 procurement funds in the amount of $18,602,155 are being obligated at the time of award. Space and Missile Systems Center, Los Angeles Air Force Base, California, is the contracting activity (FA8819-17-C-0004).

Harris Corp., Space and Intelligence Systems, Palm Bay, Florida, has been awarded a $53,083,987 firm-fixed-price, cost-plus-fixed-fee contract to upgrade the ground-based counter communication system. Contractor will upgrade Block 10.1 systems to the Block 10.2 configuration, deliver new Block 10.2 systems including depot spares, and perform engineering studies. Work will be performed at Palm Bay, Florida, and is expected to be complete by February 25, 2019. This award is the result of a sole-source acquisition. Fiscal 2016 missile and other funds in the amount of $41,004,278 are being obligated at the time of award.

Harris Corp. Government Communications Systems, Palm Bay, Fla., is being awarded a $36,329,490.00 cost plus award fee, cost plus fixed fee and firm fixed price contract to provide upgrades for the five Counter Communication Systems (CCS) Block 10 systems to the CCS B10.1 baseline and critical and depot system spares to meet operational reliability requirements. The location of the performance is Palm Bay, Fla. The contracting activity is the Space and Missile Systems Center, Los Angeles Air Force Base, Calif.
