Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) has been awarded a follow on contract valued at more than $39 million by the U.S. Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) to provide management and systems engineering to NAWCAD's Integrated Communications and Information Systems (ICIS) Division. Under the contract, SAIC will provide contract, organizational, and project management support, as well as material acquisition services in support of various projects.

The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) has awarded R.W. Beck, a subsidiary of Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) a $21 million contract to support the Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy's Biomass Program. As part of the program, the DOE announced that it will partially fund via grants the design, construction and operation of 18 integrated ethanol biorefinery pilot and demonstration projects, helping to promote the development and commercialization of cellulosic and algae derived biofuel and biochemical production. Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) has been awarded a contract valued in excess of $625 million dollars by the U.S. Navy's Program Executive Office (PEO) of Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence (C4I) to develop command and control (C2) software and modifications and enhancements to existing C2 systems. The multiple award, indefinite-deliver/indefinite-quantity contract has a three-year base period of performance, and two one-year options. The company will perform most of the work at PEO C4I's headquarters in San Diego, California.
