The Coast Guard's Command, Control and Communications Engineering Center (C3CEN) awarded a contract to FLIR Maritime U.S. Inc., of Nashua, New Hampshire, on Wednesday for the Scalable Integrated Navigation System, Two (SINS-2). The single award firm fixed price indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract is valued at $50 million and consists of a five-year base with a five-year option. The total period of performance is 10 years.

 SINS-2 is a suite of commercially available electronic equipment and sensors consisting of low-power radar/chart plotter, multifunction displays, single-frequency Global Positioning System and other required navigation components.

Rockwell Collins Inc., Cedar Rapids, Iowa, has been awarded a $15,687,657 firm-fixed-price modification (P00033) to previously awarded contract FA8106-11-C-0006 for KC-10 Communication Navigation Surveillance/Air Traffic Management kits. Contractor will provide funding for 12 kits and 15 installations. Work will be performed at Cedar Rapids, Iowa; Oklahoma City; and Atlanta, and it is expected to be complete by Dec. 22, 2015. Fiscal year 2015 aircraft procurement funds in the amount of $15,687,657 are being obligated at the time of award. Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma, is the contracting activity.

Northrop Grumman Corp., Woodland Hills, Calif., is being awarded a $13,172,882 five-year performance based logistics firm-fixed-price requirements contract for the AN/ASN-139 Carrier Aircraft Inertial Navigation System (CAINS II) used in support of the C-2A, E-2C, F/A-18 B/C/D/E/F, S-3 and TAV-8B aircraft. The announcement contains purchases for the governments of Japan, Egypt, France, Malaysia, and Taiwan under the Foreign Military Sales Program. The Naval Supply Systems Command Weapon Systems Support, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity.
