The Army is awarding Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation of Herndon, Virginia a $116,916,350 cost, cost-plus-fixed-fee, firm-fixed-price, and fixed-price-incentive contract for logistics support services for government-owned fixed wing fleet performing special electronic mission aircraft missions. Bids were solicited via the Internet with three received. Work will be performed in Herndon with an estimated completion date of February 28, 2027. Fiscal year 2017 operations and maintenance (Army) funds in the amount of $30,000,000 were obligated at the time of the award. U.S. Army Contracting Command, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, is the contracting activity (W58RGZ-17-C-0014).

 

The Army awarded the Boeing Company of Mesa, Arizona $202,200,000 modification (P00009) to contract W58RGZ-16-C-0023 for 22 Apache AH-64E helicopters. Work will be performed in Mesa and completed by December 31, 2021. Fiscal year 2017 other procurement (Army); and other procurement (Army) advanced procurement funds in the combined amount of $200,200,000 were obligated at the time of the award. U.S. Army Contracting Command, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, is the contracting activity.

AAI Corp., Hunt Valley, Maryland, was awarded a $24 million contract for 11 mobile maintenance facilities for the Shadow unmanned aircraft system for the U.S.  Marine Corps and the Army. The Shadow provides flexible and responsive near real-time battle damage assessment, battle management support, and reconnaissance, surveillance and target acquisition to ground maneuver commanders. U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, CCAM-AR-A, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, is the contracting activity.
