Raytheon Awarded Patriot Missile Upgrade Contract

The U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command has awarded Raytheon Company a $58.2 million contract for upgrading Patriot missiles to the Patriot Guidance Enhanced Missile-Tactical (GEM-T) missiles. Under the contract, the company will upgrade 124 Patriot Advanced Capability-2 missiles to the GEM-T configuration. The contract is a follow-on issued as part of the Patriot missile's continuous technology refreshment program launched in 2000.
