Nimbis to Research Cloud-Based Silicon Circuit

Nimbis Services Inc., Oro Valley, Arizona, has been awarded a $9 million Small Business Innovation Research Phase III, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract with cost-plus-fixed-fee task orders for research and development. The contractor will continue research and development for a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD)-wide, DoD-owned, cloud-based silicon integrated circuit design environment, which will allow for seamless linkage of the best design and verification capabilities across the DoD. Work will be performed in Columbus, Ohio, and is expected to be completed by June 15, 2023. This award is the result of a sole-source acquisition. Fiscal year 2015 research, development, test and evaluation funds in the amount of $749,468 are being obligated for task order 0001 at the time of award. Air Force Research Laboratory, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (FA8650-16-D-1722).
