URS Federal Wins UAV Operation Center Support Contract

URS Federal Services Inc., Germantown, Maryland, has been awarded a $9,692,686 firm-fixed-price contract for Air Combat Command unmanned aircraft systems operation centers support for the MQ-1 Predator and MQ-9 Reaper. Work will be performed at Creech Air Force Base, Nevada; Ellsworth Air Force Base, South Dakota; Holloman Air Force Base, New Mexico; Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada; Whiteman Air Force Base, Missouri; Ramstein Air Base, Germany; and Kadena Air Base, Japan, and is expected to be complete by March 31, 2017. This award is the result of a competitive acquisition with seven offers received. Fiscal 2016 operations and maintenance funds in the amount of $9,692,686 are being obligated at the time of award. The Air Combat Command, Newport News, Virginia, is the contracting activity (FA4890-16-C-0007).
