ACT I Supporting the Customs and Border Patrol's Office of Information Technology

Under a $60 million contract, Advanced Concepts and Technologies International, LLC* (ACT I), Arlington, Virginia, will provide Enterprise Program Management Office (ePMO) support to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Customs and Border Patrol's (CBP's) Office of Information Technology (OIT). Specifically, ACT I will provide support to seven OIT program directorates across finance, acquisition, wireless systems support, asset management, investment management, executive administration, logistics, human resources, project management, program management, and surge support. By delivering essential program management support, ACT I and its partners will help CBP focus on its mission to safeguard Americas borders and enable legitimate trade and travel, the company said. With more than 60,000 employees, CBP is one of the worlds largest law enforcement organizations and is charged with keeping terrorists and their weapons out of the U.S. while facilitating lawful international travel and trade. In addition to increasing ACT I's program, acquisition, cyber security and financial management support capabilities at the Department of Homeland Security, the ePMO contract will build on ACT I's existing DHS customer base that includes support to the National Protection and Programs Directorate (NPPD) Office of Cybersecurity and Communications (CS&C) and the DHS Office of Civil Rights and Civil Liberties, the company said. *Small Business
