BAE to Provide V-22 Defensive Weapon System

BAE Systems Controls Incorporated, Johnson City, New York, is being awarded a $14 million contract for the procurement of Interim Defensive Weapons System mission kits for the V-22 tiltrotor aircraft. The system provides a mission-configurable, crew-served, night vision device-compatible defensive weapon system. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity.
