Alion to Study Radio Frequency Spectrum Reallocation

Alion Science and Technology, McLean, Va., was awarded a $1.5 million contract by the Spectrum Policy and Programs office, within the Defense Department’s Office of the Chief Information Officer, to study the impact of potentially reallocating or sharing the radio frequency bands between the military and commercial sector. Alion will assist in developing a long-term spectrum strategy that will anticipate, guide and respond to changes in technology, policy and regulation and ensure spectrum access for all current and future military systems.

Lockheed Martin to Produce Ship Multi-Mission Signal Processor Equipment

The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) reissued contract HM0176-11-C-0002, for administrative reasons, and exercised option year 2011 simultaneously under reissued contract HM0176-13-C-N002 to NJVC LLC, Chantilly, Va. The Information Technology/Information Services (IT/IS) contract provides the NGA IT Enterprise Operations and Sustainment (O&S) support to NGA IT systems at approximately 170 sites (90 manned/80 unmanned) around the world. The award consists of cost-plus-award-fee (CPAF) and firm-fixed-price (FFP) support.

Northrop Grumman Supports Hunter Unmanned Aircraft in Afghanistan
