Skyborg is an autonomous attritable aircraft capable of achieving a diverse set of missions to generate massed combat power; delivering a future Air Force which can deter, blunt and defeat peer adversaries.

Newport News, Virginia-based Huntington Ingalls Industries has created a new Defense and Federal Solutions Business Group, the company announced on July 21. The group is part of the Huntington Ingalls' Technical Solutions division. The company's previous Fleet Support and Mission Driven Innovative Solutions (MDIS) groups were merged to form the new group. Garry Schwartz, a former Marine Corps senior officer, who was president of MDIS, will lead Defense and Federal Solutions.
