L3 Communications MariPro Inc., Goleta, California, is awarded a $41,440,334 cost-plus-fixed-fee, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, sole-source contract to provide support services to sustain U.S. and allied navy training and test and evaluation ranges around the world. L3 will repair or replace original equipment manufacturer systems. Services and associated deliverables include the design, production and installation of both shore electronic systems and ocean sensor system hardware assemblies; operation and maintenance of the delivered hardware to support operational test events of the delivered system, and data products identified in the contract data requirements lists.

EMC Corp., Irvine, California, has been awarded a $74,423,388 firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for instrumentation support, configuration, management, development, loading, integration, analysis and decommutation (ILIAD) and flight test instrumentation systems operation. The contract provides for greater mission capabilities by accessing contractor personnel with specialized training and expertise in utilization and troubleshooting of the ILIAD system. Work will be performed at Edwards Air Force Base and Irvine, California, and is expected to be complete by June 6, 2024.

The Army’s Project Manager Tactical Network Program is fielding the PacStar Secure Wireless Command Post solution that provides secure classified and unclassified Wi-Fi through a commercial solutions for classified (CSfC) component, the company reported on June 6. The Army began by outfitting the capabilities to the Expeditionary Signal Brigades, corps and division headquarters and Army brigade combat teams.

Fairfax, Virginia-based General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) announced that it will be providing artificial intelligence (AI) technologies to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) through the agency's Program Support Center (PSC) contract. The selection enables GDIT to compete on task orders as part of HHS's modernization efforts. The multiple award, indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract has a total estimated value of $49 million over a five-year base period, the company reported. "We are excited to join HHS in their journey to a more efficient future,” said GDIT Health Sector Vice President Kamal Narang.

Rekor Systems, Inc. has announced that it will provide automatic license plate recognition (ALPR) solutions to the U.S. Defense Department. The contract with the department is for the purchase of 200 licenses to use Rekor's machine learning-enabled vehicle recognition system powered by the company’s OpenALPR software.

Northrop Grumman Systems Corp., Azusa, California, has been awarded a $7,307,533 firm-fixed-price and cost-reimbursement contract modification (P00010) to previously awarded contract FA8803-17-C-0001 for Defense Meteorological Satellite Program sensor sustainment. This modification provides for the exercise of an option for sensor sustainment of the Defense Meteorological Satellite Program on-orbit constellation being provided under the basic contract.  Work will be performed in Azusa, California; Baltimore, Maryland; Boulder, Colorado; and Dallas, Texas, and is expected to be complete by May 31, 2020.  This modification brings the total cumulative face value of the contract to $21,468,713.
