SNT Receives Follow-On JTRS Network Emulator Contract

Scalable Network Technologies (SNT) Incorporated recently  announced that the company was awarded a contract to support the acquisition and enhancement of Joint Tactical Radio System Network Emulator for use by numerous U.S. Defense Department programs and agencies. The contract from the Joint Program Executive Office for the Joint Tactical Radio System (JPEO JTRS) is a follow-on to previous Army and Navy efforts with SNT, with an estimated value of $11 million. The network emulator is a virtual laboratory that supports real-time emulation of large-scale communication networks of current and future force radios and associated waveforms. These include, but are not limited to, the Wideband Network Waveform, the Soldier Radio Waveform, the Warfighter Information Network-Tactical WIN-T, Link-16, Single Channel Ground and Airborne Radio System, Enhanced Position Location and Reporting System, Internet Controller and similar components.
