Lockheed Martin Corp., Rotary and Mission Systems, Moorestown, New Jersey, was awarded a $78,356,122 not-to-exceed, cost-plus-incentive-fee, cost-plus-fixed-fee letter contract for Aegis development and test sites operation and maintenance at the Combat Systems Engineering Development Site, SPY-1A Test Facility and Naval Systems Computing Center, Moorestown, New Jersey. The contract will provide for continued technical engineering, configuration management, associated equipment and supplies, quality assurance, information assurance and other operation and maintenance efforts required for the Aegis development and test sites, according to DOD.

Lockheed Martin Mission Systems and Sensors, Moorestown, New Jersey, is being awarded a $17,430,000 modification to previously awarded contract for DDG 51 class and CG 47 class Aegis Combat System installation, integration and test in support of the Program Executive Officer (PEO) for Integrated Warfare Systems (IWS). The required ship integration and test engineering for Aegis ships includes program management, planning, installation, integration, testing, training, personnel, and associated services to effectively support PEO IWS efforts for the installation, integration, and test of Aegis Combat Systems. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, DC, is the contracting activity.

General Dynamics Armament and Technical Products, Charlotte, North Carolina, was awarded an $11 million contract modification by the U.S. Navy for the continued production of MK82 directors and MK200 director controllers for Aegis Combat System illuminators. The MK82 and MK200 are critical components of the Aegis missile fire-control system's illuminator. This award modifies a contract issued in September 2010 by the Naval Sea Systems Command. General Dynamics will install MK82 directors and MK200 director controllers aboard ships built under the restart of the DDG 51 shipbuilding program.

DRS ICAS Limited Liability Company, Buffalo, New York, is being awarded a potential $20 million contract for production of AN/USQ-81(V) gigabit ethernet multiplex system (GEDMS) shipsets for new construction and in-service Arleigh Burke (DDG 51) class destroyers, an Australian land based test site, associated installation and checkout repairs, and related GEDMS hardware for Wasp (LHD 1) class and Whidbey Island (LSD 41) class ships and the AN/SPA-25 radar program. GEDMS is a mission critical ship-wide data transfer network that is a key enabler for the DDG modernization program.
