General Dynamics Electric Boat Corp., Groton, Connecticut, is awarded an $869,043,785 cost-plus-fixed-fee and cost-plus-incentive-fee modification to previously awarded contract N00024-17-C-2117. This modification includes continued design completion, engineering work, affordability studies and design support efforts for the Columbia Class fleet ballistic missile submarines (SSBNs). Work will be performed in Groton, Connecticut (41%); Quonset Point, Rhode Island (14%); and Newport News, Virginia (2%), with other efforts performed at various sites throughout the U.S. (43%).

The U.S. military awarded contracts to Raytheon Co., Woburn, Massachusetts (HQ0147-18-D-0008); Lockheed Martin Corp., Moorestown, New Jersey (HQ0147-18-D-0011); and Northrop Grumman Systems Corp. acting through the Missile Defense and Protective Systems Division, Huntsville, Alabama (HQ0147-18-D-0010). The companies will provide autonomous acquisition and persistent precision tracking and discrimination to optimize the defensive capability of the Ballistic Missile Defense system and counter evolving threats. Each company is being awarded a multiple award indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (MAIDIQ) contract with a minimum amount of $10,000 and a maximum amount of $4,100,000,000.

Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems, Woburn, Massachusetts, is being awarded an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract with cost-plus-incentive-fee and cost-plus-award-fee line items with a stated maximum value of $641,758,000. Under this contract, the contractor will perform Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS) test related activities for multiple radar platforms that includes planning, executing, and analyzing sensor performance in BMDS flight tests and ground tests for each test event defined in the BMDS integrated master test plan.

Modern Technology Solutions Inc.,* Alexandria, Virginia, is being awarded an $88,677,534 competitive cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for advisory and assistance services for specialty engineering in support of technical, engineering, advisory and management support. This contract provides systems engineering services for directed energy; space; sensors; and, concurrent test, training, and operations engineering for the Ballistic Missile Defense System to defend regional interests, allies, and deployed forces against ballistic missile threats. The work will be performed in Huntsville, Alabama; Fort Belvoir, Virginia; Colorado Springs, Colorado; and Hanscom Air Force Base, Massachusetts, with an estimated completion date of October 2019.

The guided-missile destroyer USS Fitzgerald (DDG 62) launches a Standard Missile-3 (SM-3) as apart of a joint ballistic missile defense exercise. The Missile Defense Agency has awarded Lockheed Martin a $129 million contract modification for work on the Command and Control, Battle Management and Communications system.

Lockheed Martin Corp., Gaithersburg, Maryland, has been awarded a maximum $129,000,000 modification (P00034) to previously awarded HQ0147-12-D-0003 for the continued engineering, development, test, integration, fielding and on-site operations and sustainment support for the Command and Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) system located worldwide for the Ballistic Missile Defense System. This is a hybrid cost-plus-fixed-fee, cost-plus-incentive-fee, cost-plus-award-fee, fixed-price incentive, firm-fixed-price indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract. The modification brings the total cumulative face value of the contract to $1,203,500,000 from $1,074,500,000.

The Missile Defense Agency (MDA) is announcing the award of an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract with Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems, of Woburn, Massachusetts, under MDA contract HQ0147-12-D-0005. The total ceiling award value is $307,580,000. Under this new contract, the contractor will perform sustainment efforts to maintain software required to operate the X-band family of radars and Ballistic Missile Defense System test planning, execution and analysis. The MDA, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, is the contracting activity.

The Missile Defense Agency (MDA) is announcing the award of an indefinite-delivery/ indefinite-quantity, cost-plus-fixed-fee contract to Utah State University Space Dynamics Laboratory, Logan, Utah, with an award value of $150 million. Utah State University Space Dynamics Laboratory will work with MDA to provide technology development for electro-optic sensor systems, space rated instrument and payload development data, essential engineering, research, and development capabilities and services in the development of the Ballistic Missile Defense System.

General Dynamics Information Technology, Fairfax, Virginia, has received a contract award from the Missile Defense Agency's Engineering and Support Services program to provide infrastructure and deployment services in support of the Ballistic Missile Defense System. The five-year, multiple-award, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract has a $565 million ceiling value for all awardees; the contract has no initial award value.
