Distributed Common Ground System

Palantir USG Inc., Palo Alto, California (W56KGY-20-D-0005); and BAE Systems Information and Electronic SYS INT INC, San Diego, California (W56KGY-20-D-0006), will compete for each order of the $823,263,105 firm-fixed-price contract to upgrade/replace components found in the Distributed Common Ground System-Army. Bids were solicited via the internet with six received. Work locations and funding will be determined with each order, with an estimated completion date of February 24, 2027. U.S. Army Contracting Command, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland, is the contracting activity.

Connexta LLC, Phoenix, Arizona, has been awarded an $83,000,000 ceiling, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for the Distributed Common Ground/Surface System Integration Backbone Development 5th edition. The contract is for DIB software development, associated software, and DCGS/Defense Intelligence Information Enterprise community support. Work will be performed in Phoenix, Arizona, and is expected to be complete by January 23, 2023. The award was a competitive acquisition. Fiscal year 2017 research, development, test and evaluation funds in the amount of $33,324 are being obligated at the time of the award.

Sierra Nevada Corporation, of Sparks, Nevada, is being awarded a $10 million cost plus fixed fee contract develop a next-generation Distributed Common Ground Systems (DCGS) integration backbone capability that can migrate to the Defense Intelligence Information Enterprise. This will be accomplished through investigation, development, testing, and evaluation of an enterprise architecture capable of joint, federal, and coalition interoperability in support of diverse mission and contingency operations. Deliverable items are software, hardware, and technical reports. Air Force Research Laboratory, Rome New York, is the contracting activity.
