Northrop Grumman Systems Corp., Linthicum Heights, Maryland, has been awarded a $259,591,988 firm-fixed-price modification (P00037) to contract FA8615-17-C-6047 for Active Electronically Scanned Array radars of Air Force F-16 aircraft. This modification is for the exercise of options to include 115 production radars, as well as associated spares. Work will be performed in Linthicum Heights, Maryland, and is expected to be completed December 2023. The total cumulative face value of the contract is $840,077,231. Fiscal 2020 aircraft procurement funds in the amount of $6,377,989; and fiscal 2021 aircraft procurement funds in the amount of $253,213,999 are being obligated at the time of award.

International Enterprises Inc., Talladega, Alabama, has been awarded a $12,469,948 firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ), requirements contract for F-16 modular low power radio frequency (MLPRF) and dual mode transmitter (DMT) repairs. The contract provides for the repair of both MLPRF and DMT, which function as part of the radar systems of each F-16 C/D aircraft. Work will be performed in Talladega, Alabama, and is expected to be completed December 6, 2025. This award is the result of a competitive acquisition and one offer was received. Funding for the initial order is not presently available due to the contract being a requirements-type IDIQ.

The contractor will provide F-16 service life extension program kits for the F-16 fleet. Work will be performed in Stilwell, Oklahoma, and is expected to be complete by May 31, 2029. Contractor will provide installation on F-16 aircraft and one year of supplier support in Taiwan. Work will be performed in Taiwan and is expected to be complete by Nov. 30, 2021. This contract is 100 percent foreign military sales. This award is the result of a sole-source acquisition. The total cumulative face value of the contract is $430,377,045. This modification incorporates a solution to solve a radar interoperability issue affecting F-16 aircraft produced for Pakistan and Thailand under the basic contract. Work will be performed at Fort Worth, Texas, and is expected to be completed by April 30, 2016. The contract supports 100 percent foreign military sales for Thailand and Pakistan. Goodrich Corporation, Surveillance & Reconnaissance Systems of Chelmsford, Massachusetts, was awarded a nearly $72 million U.S. Air Force contract to provide five dual band-110 Pod, two datalink upgrades to existing pods, two fixed ground stations, one mobile ground station, four ground station datalink receiver kits, initial spares, technical manuals, minimal initial engineering support for final in-country installation, integration, testing and a study for a potential fusion center. This supports a Foreign Military Sale program and Pakistani F-16 aircraft.
