Harris Corp., Harris Radio Frequency Communications Division, Rochester, New York, has been awarded a $73,500,000 firm-fixed-price modification (P00002) to a previously awarded indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract (FA8629-14-D-2407) for AN/PRC-152A handheld radios. The contract modification increases the estimated contract ceiling and provides for the procurement of additional quantities of AN/PRC-152A hand-held radios and accessories in support of the Battlefield Airmen Air Operations program. Work will be performed in Rochester, New York. The ordering period ends on June 1, 2019. No funding is being obligated at the time of award of this modification; funding will be obligated on delivery orders placed against the ID

Harris Corp. of Rochester, New York, was awarded a $21,000,000 maximum, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, single award contract for the sustainment of handheld (AN/PRC-152(v)5/6 and AN/PRC-152A(v)1/2) and manpack (AN/PRC-117G(v)3) radios and associated spare parts, accessories, repairs, training, spares management and engineering services in support of U.S. Special Operations Command (SOCOM). The work will be performed at Harris Corp. and SOCOM mission units with an expected completion date of May 2023. Fiscal year 2018 operations and maintenance funds in the amount of $13,700 are being obligated at time of award. The contract was awarded as a sole source contract.

DRS Technical Services Incorporated, Herndon, Virginia, was awarded a $12 million contract to provide 10,000 very high frequency (VHF) handheld radios, 10,000 VHF handheld radio accessories, 5,000 VHF mobile radios and 5,000 VHF mobile radio accessories. Work will be performed in Afghanistan. The Kabul Regional Contracting Center, Cole House Contracting, Kabul, Afghanistan, is the contracting activity.
