BAE Systems Information and Electronics Systems Integration, Nashua, New Hampshire, was awarded an $843,894,209 modification (P00006) to contract W58RGZ-21-D-0023 for life cycle contractor support for the Limited Interim Missile Warning System Quick Reaction Capability. Bids were solicited via the internet with one received. Work locations and funding will be determined with each order, with an estimated completion date of February 2, 2026. U.S. Army Contracting Command, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, is the contracting activity.

The fifth Space Based Infrared System Geosynchronous Earth Orbit satellite, known as SBIRS GEO-5, is ready for launch in 2021. The U.S. Space Force deemed complete the high priority program satellite, which will provide worldwide missile warning capability to the U.S. military. The service’s Space and Missile Systems Center (SMC) Production Corps at Los Angeles Air Force Base, California, and industry partner Lockheed Martin Space, in Sunnyvale, California, prepared the important warning system in record time.

BAE Systems Inc., Nashua, N.H., was awarded a $66,000,015 firm-fixed-price contract for the procurement of AN/AAR-57 common missile warning systems. The contract is in support of Foreign Military Sales for United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia. The U.S. Army Contracting Command, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Md., is the contracting activity.

Northrop Grumman Systems Corp., Rolling Meadows, Ill., is being awarded a $7,190,928 contract modification to a previously awarded firm-fixed-price contract to exercise an option to procure 40 sensors, 20 upgrade processors and associated technical data in support of the advanced threat missile warning system, a subsystem of the large aircraft infrared countermeasures system. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.

Alliant Techsystems Incorporated, Integrated Systems Division, Clearwater, Florida, is being awarded a $32 million contract modification to exercise an option for up to 1,700 AN/AAR-47 missile warning system weapons replaceable assemblies. These assemblies include 600 A(V)2 and B(V)2 integrated optical sensor convertors; 200 A(V)2 and B(V)2 computer processors; and 100 A(V)2/B(V)2 control indicators. These systems are for installation on Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, other services, and various foreign military helicopters, rotorcraft, and low/slow fixed wing aircraft. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity.

Alliant Techsystems Incorporated, Clearwater, Florida, is being awarded a contract valued at more than $66 million to procure up to 4,600 various AN/AAR-47 missile warning system weapons replaceable assemblies, including new or upgraded optical sensor converters, computer processors and control panels, and associated repairs necessary to return upgrade units to ready for issue condition. These systems are for installation on U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Air Force, other services, and various foreign military helicopters, rotorcraft, and low/slow fixed wing aircraft.
