Lockheed Martin Corp., Missile and Fire Control, Orlando, Florida, is being awarded a $150,957,577 firm-fixed-price definitive contract for the Target Sight System (TSS) on the AH-1Z Cobra attack helicopter. The TSS is a large-aperture midwave forward-looking infrared sensor with a laser designator/rangefinder turret. The TSS provides the capability to identify and laser-designate targets at maximum weapon range, significantly enhancing platform survivability and lethality. The anticipated contract will support the AH-1Z Cobra helicopter production efforts of PMA-276 and the government of Pakistan.

Goodrich Corporation, Westford, Massachusetts, has been awarded an $11 million firm-fixed-price contract for Pakistan DB-110 sustainment effort that includes upgrade capabilities, spare and support equipment. This award is the result of a sole-source acquisition, and is 100 percent foreign military sales for Pakistan. The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (FA8620-14-C-4017).

Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Co., Fort Worth, Texas, has been awarded a $7,253,896 modification (P00068) to FA8615-07-C-6032 for F-16 production contracts. The total cumulative face value of the contract is $430,377,045. This modification incorporates a solution to solve a radar interoperability issue affecting F-16 aircraft produced for Pakistan and Thailand under the basic contract. Work will be performed at Fort Worth, Texas, and is expected to be completed by April 30, 2016. The contract supports 100 percent foreign military sales for Thailand and Pakistan. Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity.

Exelis Inc., Clifton, N.J., has been awarded a $9,796,591 firm-fixed-price modification (P00004) on an existing contract (FA8540-11-C-0012) for manufacture and delivery of AN/ALQ-211 (V)-9 AIDEWS pod classified and unclassified spares. This award is the result of a source-directed acquisition and is 100 percent foreign military sales for Pakistan. Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Robins Air Force Base, Ga., is the contracting activity.

QinetiQ North America  has announced that its TALON military robots will provide explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) mission support to Pakistan’s military forces. The latest $7.8 million order was facilitated by the U.S. Navy and follows previous orders from Pakistan for EOD robots.

Northrop Grumman Electronic Business Segment, Linthicum Heights, Md., has been awarded a maximum $115 million firm-fixed-price contract to provide 16 AN/APG-68 (V)9 radar systems for the Royal Thai Air Force and 22 AN/APG-68 (V)9 radar systems for the Republic of Iraq for a total of 38 radar systems. Goodrich Corporation, Surveillance & Reconnaissance Systems of Chelmsford, Massachusetts, was awarded a nearly $72 million U.S. Air Force contract to provide five dual band-110 Pod, two datalink upgrades to existing pods, two fixed ground stations, one mobile ground station, four ground station datalink receiver kits, initial spares, technical manuals, minimal initial engineering support for final in-country installation, integration, testing and a study for a potential fusion center. This supports a Foreign Military Sale program and Pakistani F-16 aircraft.
