Raytheon Company has been awarded a contract to develop the NextGen Terminal Data Distribution System (TDDS), which will make more efficient use of the crowded airspace in the U.S. The TDDS will automate flight information, resulting in improved capacity in the nation's airspace, and will facilitate the exchange of network-enabled data between disparate systems and integrate multiple data sources to better manage the airspace. Raytheon's Network Centric Systems leads the team, which includes Lockheed Martin's Transportation and Security Solutions Division, Intelligent Automation and Dnutch Associates.

Raytheon Company Integrated Defense Systems is being awarded a $57 million cost-plus-incentive-fee modification to a previously awarded contract for the procurement of selected Zumwalt class destroyer mission system equipment (MSE). MSEs are required to mitigate production and integration risk and to conduct at-sea testing in support of the Zumwalt class of destroyers test and evaluation master plan aboard the U.S. Navy Self Defense Test Ship.

Raytheon Company has been awarded a $128.1 million U.S. Army contract for engineering services for the Patriot Air and Missile Defense System. Issued by the U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, the contract calls for Raytheon to provide systems analysis, software and hardware engineering, testing and logistics support.

Raytheon Company has been awarded $11.4 million to support Patriot missile facilities during 2009. The U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, issued the additional funding as an option under a three-year contract previously awarded to Raytheon. This add-on award brings the value of the contract to $35.5 million.
