Dean Inc., Tysons, Virginia, are awarded a combined $374,000,000 modification to a previously awarded indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, hybrid, cost-plus-incentive fee, fixed-price-incentive-firm-target, cost-plus-fixed-fee, firm-fixed-price, multiple award contract to increase ceiling and extend period of performance for installation and operational certification of shipboard and shore facility command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance systems.
BAE Systems Technology Solutions & Services, Rockville, Maryland, is being awarded a $12,149,950 modification (P00013) to a previously awarded cost-plus-fixed-fee, cost reimbursable contract (N00421-15-C-0008) to exercise an option for research, development, design, integration, testing, installation, training and certification of shipboard C4I electronic communication systems in support of the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division’s Ship and Air Integrated Warfare Division (Air 4.11.3). DRS Technologies Canada and SELEX Elsag, both of which are Finmeccanica companies, were recently awarded a contract worth approximately $11 million Canadian dollars ($11.2 million, U.S.) by the Department of Public Works and Government Services Canada for the upgrading of the Canadian Navy’s HALIFAX Class Frigate Internal Communications System (ICS). The System will be based on Terrestrial Trunked Radio (TETRA) technology. Delivery of the equipment is expected to begin in 2013 and to be completed by the middle of 2015.
