Telos Corp. was awarded a five-year, $45 million contract to support the U.S. Army's migration and modernization of telephone communications systems located in the Army Pacific (USARPAC) theater of operationst. Under the contract, the company will engineer, furnish, install, secure and test a turn-key solution for a Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) solution for Army bases, camps, posts, stations and ports/piers in the Pacific region, according to a company statement. Telos will be responsible for replacing existing analog voice service exchanges and implementing Telephone Management Systems while also ensuring connectivity to the relevant Unified Call Managers, the company said.
Telos Corp., Ashburn, Virginia, has been awarded a $26,978,951 predominantly firm-fixed-price and cost reimbursement contract for De-Militarized Zone (DMZ) upgrade. Contractor will provide modification and replacement of the aging DMZ that will include networking equipment composed of a suite of equipment, known as a kit, that contains a firewall, intrusion prevention and intrusion detection systems, anti-virus software, web-portal capability and security management. Work will be performed at Robins Air Force Base, Georgia; Beale Air Force Base, California; Langley Air Force Base, Virginia; Ramstein Air Base, Germany; and Wichita, Kansas, and is expected to be complete by April 17, 2019.
Telos Corporation has been awarded a task order by the U.S. Army Information Technology Agency to provide Defense Message System (DMS) support at the Pentagon Telecommunications Center (PTC). The one-year contract includes one option year and is worth more than $32 million if all options are exercised. Under the contract awarded from the Network Centric Solutions contract vehicle, Telos will assist the PTC with integrating, operating and maintaining a single, integrated DMS at three security levels. The PTC is the Army's nerve center in the Pentagon for operating and managing the critical information technology infrastructure related to secure, organizational messaging.
