Thales Wins Contract To Equip German Navy Supply Ships

The German Navy has awarded Thales a contract to equip the supply ships Berlin and Frankfurt am Main with a new radar system for air surveillance and helicopter guidance. The company will also install the same radar system and provide the command and control system and internal communications system for the Bonn, a third supply ship scheduled to launch in 2012.
