Course Description:

COURSE OVERVIEW
 
Jim Flyzik, former Senior Technology Advisor in the White House Office of Homeland Security, leads this course that includes numerous guest presentations by various Agency and Industry Leaders in the Homeland Security area.
 
This course explores the complexities of Homeland Security and the challenges of protecting the country. This offering reviews the structure of the Department of Homeland Security with details of each Component Organization including their Mission, Organization Structure, and Key Positions and Programs. The course also addresses other Agencies of the Federal, State and Local government that support the Homeland Security Mission.
 
This course is suitable for all industry and government personnel interested in understanding the complex relationships among the numerous stakeholders in the Homeland Security arena. It is equally suitable for professionals proficient in their own services or specialties who expect to have responsibilities or working relationships involving Homeland Security.
