AFCEA Diversity in the Workforce

AFCEA International's Diversity in the Workforce event is taking place during AFCEA Belvoir Industry Days and is a joint venture between AFCEA International's Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Access (I.D.E.A.) initiative and the AFCEA Belvoir Chapter. AFCEA IDEA programs reflect the fabric of our country and establish a sense of belonging for everyone. Our events provide a culture in which all attendees can connect, contribute and be themselves. AFCEA Belvoir Chapter supports the Fort Belvoir community by connecting the government with IT industry professionals. The event will be kicked off with opening remarks by Lt. Gen. Susan Lawrence, USA (Ret.), president and CEO of AFCEA International. The opening panel is on Diversity in the Workforce and will include senior leaders in the military and government community. It will be followed by a panel of senior IT government and military women leaders focusing on Strategic Use of Data. The event will wrap up with an all-attendee "meet the speakers" reception.




Navy Information Warfare Industry Day

The Deputy Chief of Naval Operations for Information Warfare (N2/N6) and Director of Naval Intelligence ¿ in collaboration with AFCEA Intelligence and the Naval Intelligence Professionals ¿ is pleased to host a classified dialog with the private sector on November 9, 2022. The goal of this day-long, industry-focused Secret-level discussion is to thoughtfully explore how the public and private sectors can best work together now to address the Navy¿s gaps and barriers to programmatic and operational success.
