The chapter held a luncheon meeting in March with guest speaker Thomas Frank, federal sales manager for CommScope. Frank led a discussion on passive optical networks and their deployment within the federal infrastructure. He described the differences between copper cabling and fiber-optic cabling, including Ethernet passive optical networks and gigabit passive optical networks. |
