Bull and Oyster Roast Raises Scholarship Funds

The chapter hosted its 8th annual Bull & Oyster Roast in November. More than 500 chapter members, guests and volunteers gathered for games, food, prizes and even line dancing. Donning cowboy boots and spurs, these guests enjoyed the event's Western theme at La Fontaine Bleu in Glen Burnie, Maryland, where the Bull & Oyster Roast has been hosted for many years running. The event brought in more than $40,000 for the chapter's Scholarship Fund, gained through table sponsorships, ticket sales, the Silent Auction, the Northrop Grumman-sponsored Game Wheels, the Sotera Defense-sponsored Trip Raffle and 50/50 Raffle. The next Bull & Oyster Roast will be on November 2, 2013.
