Luncheon Speaker Presents Trends in Cyber

The chapter held its monthly guest speaker luncheon at Waxy O'Connors Irish Pub in Lexington, Massachusetts, in November. Larry Coe, vice president, programs, presided as master of ceremonies over a packed audience of industry and government participants. Kevin Stamey, SES, director, engineering and technical management, Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC)/EN-EZ, Hanscom Air Force Base, enlightened the audience with a presentation on trends in cyber and what AFLCMC is doing to address cyber risks in weapons systems. Bud Vazquez, chapter president, announced and congratulated the winners of AFCEA International's Young AFCEAN awards. Chapter winners included Capt. Bobby Walker, USAF, AFLCMC/HBAI, Distinguished Young AFCEAN Award; Matt Carroll (Wyle), Regional Distinguished Young AFCEAN Award; and Chris Molis, AFLCMC/HNIK, Emerging Leadership Award. Coe and Vazquez closed with presentation of the chapter's AFCEAN of the Quarter Award to Young AFCEAN Chris Molis.
