Gold Circle Breakfast Supports Chapter Scholarships

The chapter welcomed guests to its seventh annual Gold Circle Breakfast, a fundraiser held in conjunction with the New Horizons Symposium, in March at the Boston Marriott Newton in Newton, Massachusetts. Kim Ponder, vice president, membership, welcomed guests to the event, which supports chapter scholarships. Ponder introduced featured speaker David Hamilton, president of Guardtime Federal and 40-year veteran of the Defense Department. He was director of the Air Force Rapid Capabilities Office for 11 years before retiring in 2014. Hamilton presented "Technology Lessons Observed, Possibly Learned," based on his considerable experiences directing developmental projects such as upgrades to the National Capital Region Integrated Air Defense System and launching the X-37 Orbital Test Vehicle. At the event's conclusion, Stephan Nadeau, co-chair of the New Horizons Symposium, presented a token of appreciation from the chapter to Hamilton, and Ponder thanked breakfast sponsor Raytheon.
