Chapter Hosts Spring Golf Tournament for STEM

The chapter held its Spring Elmer J. Fuller Memorial Golf Tournament in June at the Marlboro Country Club in Marlboro, MA. The annual event honors Elmer Fuller, a long-time Hanscom Air Force Base senior civilian and staunch supporter of AFCEA who served as past chapter president and chairman of the board. Two flights of golfers from government and industry participated in a shotgun scramble to benefit the chapter's education fund. A luncheon followed at which Elmer Fuller's family was acknowledged and welcomed. Dave Burke, master of ceremonies, awarded prizes to winning teams in each flight, announced raffle winners and concluded by thanking the golf committee and industry sponsors for their invaluable support of this event, which raises thousands of dollars annually for chapter science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) scholarships.
