Chapter Hosts Small Business Roundtable

Chapter members gathered in November for a small business roundtable event to hear insights from EMD Strategies on how to diversify, identify and win federal contracts. Group discussions were held on two topics. The first was "Developing a Teaming Strategy Beyond Your Current Network." The easiest approach to teaming is to contact organizations already within your network, but this isn't always the most effective approach. It's important to discuss identifying, evaluating and networking with new organizations and building the right sized team. The second topic was "The Importance of Differentiators." Are you an innovative, cutting-edge small business that always makes sure to fulfill their customer's mission? So is the competition. What makes a real differentiator and why is this important? The chapter would like to thank Mitch Gilman and Nicole Tripodi from EMD Strategies for sponsoring the event and for supporting the local small business members with valuable information and feedback. The event venue sponsor was the Florida-Israel Business Accelerator, who continues to provide ongoing support to the chapter.
