Chapter Holds Cyber Outreach Field Trip with Local Students |
The chapter held its first event for the High School Cyber Security Outreach Program in December. Thirty-seven students and five teachers attended a field trip to the ReliaQuest Security Operations Center in Tampa. They learned about the day in a life of a cybersecurity professional, security center operations and real world attacks. They received answers on how to enter the field and what recruiters look for on a resume. This is an important part of the chapter's initiative to help excite students and assist them with cybersecurity careers. |
