Small Business Advocate

AFCEA International honors a small business advocate. This award recognizes excellence in a large or midsize business that meets the following criteria:

Company Overview

  • 250 or more employees
  • In business for more than three years
  • Annual revenues of at least $125 million
  • AFCEA corporate member
  • Demonstrated commitment to AFCEA's mission, values and activities

Demonstrated excellence in following areas:

  • Mentor-protégé program  
  • Demonstrable contract/subcontract performance
  • Participation and advocacy in the AFCEA and other small business forums
  • Ethics
  • Diversity in leadership and staff
