Small Business Advocate

AFCEA International honors a small business advocater. This award is designed for a large or mid-size business that meets the following criteria:

  •     Annual revenues of at least $125 million
  •     AFCEA corporate member
  •     Demonstrates commitment to AFCEA's mission, values and activities
  •     Demonstrates small business advocacy in the following areas:

    •         Increased revenues/job creation for small business partners
    •         Mentor-protege (or other sponsorship/training) programs
    •         Increased contract and subcontract opportunities for small businesses
    •         Small business forums, job fairs, etc.
  •     Exemplifies small business advocacy through increased subcontracting for all small business categories
  •     Holds a reputation as a genuine small business advocate within the government, industry and small business communities
