The Case for Better National Emergency Planning

In a recently published AFCEA CyberSecurity Committee white paper, a joint committee team comprising intel and private sector members examined the effectiveness of National Security Emergency Program (NSEP) planning through the lens of the COVID-19 pandemic. The authors interviewed experts in the field and discovered that DHS had prepared and updated its pandemic resource plans numerous times, including highly useful recommendations calling for coordination at the state, local and international levels. This event is free to military, government and AFCEA members.
