The new U.S. Space Force faces many challenges, and much work remains to achieve the 2020 Defense Space Strategy vision. The day will focus on four areas that underpin and support the strategy: a view of the threat environment; perspectives from current government and industry space leaders; the future use of commercial services and capabilities to augment, offset or replace government-owned and -operated space capabilities; and the state of space-related acquisition reform.
