Description: |
The first AFCEA London Chapter meeting of the new
2025 / 2026 season will take place on Thursday 4th
September, kindly hosted by Fortinet at their
offices in "The Scalpel" - 52 Lime Street, EC3M
7AF. The presentation will take the form of a
panel discussion on the theme of "The challenge of
insider risk - preventing threats from the inside
out".
The panelists: Chris Parker MBE (Fortinet UK),
Garrick Thomas DBA (Independent Consultant) &
Duncan Bates (Fortinet UK). The discussion will
be chaired by Liam Delaney (CACI).
In an era where cyber perimeters are dissolving
and threats are increasingly coming from within;
the challenge of insider risk has become one of
the most pressing for the UK Defence sector.
Whether driven by human error, negligence, or
malicious intent, insider threats bypass
traditional security layers - demanding a more
intelligent, integrated approach.
We're bringing together experts from CACI and
Fortinet to explore how next-generation analytics,
zero-trust frameworks, and behavioural monitoring
are reshaping how we detect, mitigate, and prevent
threats from the inside out - without compromising
mission readiness or operational trust.
This is bound to be a very popular meeting and
there may be a limit on numbers, due to capacity
restrictions at the venue.
Registrations will be on a first come first served
basis, so please book early to avoid
disappointment. Bookings will close on Friday
29th August, or earlier if we reach the capacity
limit. |
