Corporate Gray "Military Friendly" Job Fair Corporate Gray
On Thursday, March 13, you will have the opportunity to meet face-to-face with representatives from dozens of "military friendly" employers and schools. This Corporate Gray "Military Friendly" Job Fair will be held from 9 am to 12:30 pm at the Waterford Reception Center in Springfield, Virginia. Preparatory job fair seminars will be held at the same location beginning at 8 am. Some of the participating companies include: Lockheed Martin, BAE Systems, Coca-Cola, Engility, HP, URS, Camber, GEICO, Virginia Department of Transportation, and Yorktel.

Die Bundeswehr und die Behörden und Organisationen mit Sicherheitsaufgaben sind wie viele andere staatliche Organe, aber auch wie die Industrie und alle Nutzer von Informationstechnik aus unterschiedlichen Gründen Cyberangriffen ausgesetzt. Wie entgegnen diese Organisationen der Bedrohung? Wie gelingt es, Lücken zu schließen? Welche Lehren werden aus bekannten Vorfällen gezogen? Welche Fähigkeiten wurden dafür aufgebaut? Welche rechtlichen Rahmenbedingungen sind zu beachten? Diese und weitere Fragen möchten wir in dem gemeinsamen Forum von AFCEA Bonn e.V. und Behörden Spiegel auf der CeBIT 2014 diskutieren.

Chris Estes was appointed by Governor Pat McCrory as North Carolina¿s State Chief Information Officer in January of 2013. As a member of the governor¿s executive team, he provides oversight of information technology projects and manages IT operations for state agencies. Chris and his leadership team are executing the state¿s strategy to improve IT governance, increase government efficiency, and modernize North Carolina¿s technology infrastructure. Mr. Estes will be the keynote speaker at NC AFCEA March luncheon.

The AFCEA Central MD Chapter Open House is a Membership Appreciation Event to thank our members, both corporate and individual, for their efforts this year and to provide a venue for members to network with one another and learn more about the exciting activities and opportunities to get involved with the Chapter. Why come: This is an opportunity to meet with and get to know the chapter¿s leadership and to find out about the many ways you can get involved with the chapter. Each of the major subchapters, the Young AFCEANs, Women in Intelligence Group, and Small Business Affairs will be represented, allowing you to learn more about these groups, their missions, and upcoming events. Finally, you will have opportunity to network with your fellow members and simply enjoy the free drinks and appetizers with people who share a common vision of supporting our community today and tomorrow through education and investment in talented people!
